The Guild House was built in 1902 as a memorial gift to the Cathedral of All Saints in Albany, NY. For the next 70 years it served as an immigrant settlement house, a cultural and performing arts center, and as a school. Since the 1970's it has gone unoccupied and unused. In 2023, under the leadership of Cathedral's Dean, Rev. Leander Harding, a team of volunteers was assembled to bring the Guild House back to life. This web page will tell the story of that rebirth.
The mission of a restored Guild House will be to provide educational and cultural services to the Albany community.
Restoring the Guild House over the next few years through collaboration with state, local, private and non-profit partners.
